Blown Away

It never ceases to amaze me how God works in my life. He always pops up in new places with new people. This world is just a picture of how God redeems the broken. I love that. I love that just the fact that I go on mission trips every summer led into several conversations with one of my work's beer delivery guys about his faith. I love that God uses something as small as that to spark His story in people's lives. I love that when you sit under His stars and just listen you can hear Him saying "I love you," in the softest tone and yet a thunderstorm feels like God saying "See how big and real I am?" The fact that the same God has both sides and his madly  in love with us never ceases to amaze me. How can it be and  who am I that He would choose to work in a through me? I think one of my favorite things to see is when you see an elderly couple that is still (and more so) in love after having spent a lifetime together. That is the picture I have with God. The relationship is a lifelong persuit of Him and His glory. It is a lifelong romance. People today have lost the picture of a lifelong romance because you don't see that much anymore. I want that here on earth and I want that with my heavenly Father. Hm I love that picture.
