A Sojourn- A temporary resting place

Have you ever been a place where you want to go one direction AND another at the same time? I want to go forward and backward in time right now. I'm looking foward to school starting but I've also had an awesome summer and want to relive some of it. I have a friend that's been gone all summer at a camp in Colorado so I'm looking forward to spending time with her this school year, on the other hand one of my best friends leaves for school in two weeks and I'm dreading that goodbye. There is saying that is "I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place" and while it doesn't fit perfectly here I feel like I am. I feel like I want to move forward fast but at the same time I want to back pedal a million miles from now. This summer has been full of adventures and such. A post is coming that will highlight those times but it needs to be complete so it will happen at the end of the summer. I guess I should just sit in the place I'm in and give myself a chance to get mentally and spiritually ready for school. A sojourn as it were.....Sojourns definition is a temporary stay.....That is a cool place to be sometimes.
