The dog keeps returning to me, expecting me to throw a rock to chase. People call him back; "Hero, come here boy! Hero!", but he doesn't even make notice of them. He never yeilds in his drive to chase the rocks. He jumps at my every move. As I throw the rock, he leaps in the air and chases it down. Returning to me every time, he never budges from his determined mindset. He has one goal in life, to chase the rocks. He never breaks away, never gets distracted. Persistent, enduring, never distracted, this dog knows what he wants......
I want to be as persistent as this dog when it comes to doing God's will in my life. I wanna be so focused on His will that no matter what else in my life is "calling", I will focus on my goal. I want to return to Him when I'm not sure what to do anymore. I want to want it that bad.....
