Police

For those of you that don't know, I'm planning on going to college to get my degree in criminal justice and then go to the SAPD police academy. It may end up a little different than that but basically I want to be a cop. Police work has always fascinated me. Yesterday when I was at work a big group of police officers come into work. Now this is normal, police frequent our store. Something about pizza brings cops in, but the weird thing was that they all had SWAT uniforms on. I asked one of our more frequent regulars what was going on and he said that they were practicing SWAT menuvers at an abandoned apartment complex down the road. That sounds like so much fun. They were blowing the doors off each apartment. I mean how awesome is that! And people wonder why I want to be a police officer! I told this cop that I plan on being SAPD and we talked about that for a bit and he said "Why don't you come watch us after you get off? We'll be there until about 4 or so." AHHHH! I wanted to go watch them so bad! But we had a guy coming to look at the house and I needed to get home so there would be somebody home for that. Oh well. I can't wait to be a cop:)
