The Five

By orders of Mrs. J I'm updating my blog. Apparently I do have viewers that miss me:) This last friday one of my best friends came home from half of the summer at a camp in Colorado. I missed her a lot and I'm very glad to have her back. Something I have been thinking about a lot lately is how awesome and amazing my friends are. I've been extremely blessed to have a close group of friends that all know each other extremely well. We like to call ourselves "The Five". Its amazing how we all relate to each other. J probably knows me better than anyone I've ever met, yet we are very different. She is a girly girl, loves to dress up, and wishes I would dress up with her more, but thats where A comes in. Where I lack the amount of girlyness, A fufills that role, yet she is still enough of a goof and athletic enough to do things that J won't do with me. The boys are very awesome too. I've known DC the longest out of everyone and we get along so well. He plays baseball and loves most sports, so we have some awesome conversations about sports. He is also into music which is something I also love. We have 0ur differences but we also have a lot in common. DP is a nutcase but we all still love him. His big thing is video games and computers. I do sort of like computers and so I can relate to him in that way. He is into wrestling and anything manly and tough(although those that know him best may question his toughness;). All together we balance each others falts and likes and dislikes. Sometimes we may not get along if certain people are missing but altogether we get along really well. We have just the right mix to make an awesome group of friends. The main thing that brings us together is our common relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We all talk about how we are doing in our walks and challenge each other in different areas. We pray for each other and for others. We've definitely grown closer together as we've grown closer to God. This summer has been so interesting to see how much we've all changed and grown. With A gone for a lot of the summer and some of us going on a different trip that challenged us spiritually, we have all changed and matured in our faith. Needless to say I love these kids:)
