Hoping.....Easier Said Then Done.

Today my thoughts wander to hope. Psalm 119 talks about hope several times but the verses that I am thinking about are verse 74... "Those who fear You will be glad to see me because I have hoped in Your word." and verse 116..."Uphold me according to Your word that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope." I am pondering the meaning of hope in these verses and I'm wondering how much I hope, what I hope for, and what I put my hope in. I don't really see the way I view God as hoping in Him. I generally figure He does something or doesn't do it. I rarely finding myself hoping. I hope in things I think might happen, like an event. I think a lot of times with God, I find myself just wondering what will happen and putting very little hope in God so I don't get let down. I wonder what I could be missing out on because I rarely hope. I think hope would take a lot of trust......
