Something I've noticed is that in a situation of fear and uncertainty, the person you look up to has a lot of influence in your reaction to the situation. For instance, a child tends to be more calm in a scary situation, if his parents hold their cool. The child feels safe because his protectors have no fear. He trusts them and he senses that they don't feel a reason to fear. I love how that translates into our relationship with God. Phil Stacy has a song and the lyrics go like this...
"When every little thing that I dream of being just slips away like water through my hands, and when it seems the walls from my beliefs come crashing down like they’re all made of sand,
I won’t let go of You now, because I know, oh, You’re not shaken!"
Christians talk about childlike faith and the analogy continues. A child feels safe and secure in his parents care. He has never experience pain from them and has no reason to doubt them. Our faith is the same. God has never failed us and the idea is that we would never question Him because He has been faithful. We have no reason to doubt Him. Though that doesn't always happen, it is an idea to hang onto and persue. What kind of life could we lead if we lost our fear of God's plan and care in our lives and jumped head first into a persute of His glory? That life sounds incredible to me.

Wow Taylor, I have been out of the loop in reading blogs, so I was catching up. God is really working in mighty ways in you, and I love seeing how you are growing and changing, and thinking and pondering, and loving the Lord, and being "Transformed by Jesus." You have challenged me in getting back to that childlike faith. Thank you!
Rach
P.S. I love that Ben made your blog. Great pic!
