I Am So Blessed

It's the day I walk across the stage and finish up a section of my life. A section that most say flies by, but for me was just the right length. It really didn't fly by and I thoroughly enjoyed highschool. I had so much fun with my friends and learned so much about God. My faith became something that was real and alive rather than something I had to do. Big Daddy Weave has a song that plays on the Christian station and there is one line that sticks out to me. He is talking about the day he received Christ and he says "it was the first time I remember feeling my heartbeat." That is so true. You don't realize what you're missing and the peace you can have until you really experience it. That is the biggest thing I will walk away with from highschool. The other big thing would be my amazing friends. Lately I've seen how much my friends love me and it makes me giddy to think that people care about me like that. My best friend made me an entire scrapbook from the time we became good friends til an event recently. It is HUGE. She made it for my graduation and it must have taken her hours to put it together. Another friend of mine made me a really awesome picture board with tie dye cloth on it:) My parents bought me a ring that I picked out. My aunt had a very cool blanket made with some of my gradution slideshow pictures on it. My other aunt gave me personalized luggage tags. I was so surprised by each thing and felt very loved to see how personalized each thing was. I am so blessed. Highschool has been all I could have asked for or wanted. I wouldn't change a thing good or bad. It wasn't all nice and pretty but I've been able to see good come out of the bad and that just shows me that my Lord and Savior is faithful. He's never let me down.
