My birthday was weekend was fun yet very tiring. My mom's older sister, Lea Ann, came into town with her family on friday. Lea Ann, my uncle Mack, my cousin Lorin, Lorin's baby Lyza, and Lorin's boyfriend Chris all came into town for the weekend. They came to see Macks son and daughter-in-law who were visiting from san francisco. It was a lot of fun to see everyone but made for a loud, long weekend. I got home on friday after work and everyone was cleaning, so i helped until they arrived. We went to dinner at Los Barrios because our normal Tex-Mex place, Blanco Cafe, was closed. Saturday I got up earlier than expected because Lyza woke me up and was ready to be out of bed. She is adorable....but has the nastiest diapers ever. ew. Anyway since I was up so early I decided to go to the church and help with the building of the stage. So me and Holly did that until 3pm or so. That was fun. The stage had a lot of pieces and I ended up dropping a heavy piece of plywood on my foot while carrying it downstairs:/ The stage looks good and is sturdy. Saturday night was one of my best friends birthday parties and that was ton's of fun to celebrate with her. Especially since our birthdays are a day apart. So sunday was my birthday. On sunday morning me and holly went to church and then went home and watched football and baseball all afternoon. That evening my uncle offered to take us all out to dinner and I got to pick the restaurant that we all went to. I chose Texas Land and Cattle because I LOVE steak. They surprised me by calling my best friend and having her meet us there. So it was a lot of fun to spend the evening with the family and my bff:) Sunday night I was so tired that I almost fell alseep watching baseball. I headed to bed about 10:30 because I have a 7am class on mondays. Well two people called me as I was heading to bed to tell me happy birthday and I didn't fall asleep til nearly 11:30. Needless to say it was a very long and tiring weekend but a ton of fun. Especially seeing my favorite little cousin Lyza:) what a cutie:)
